I f you were worried whether or not The Elder Scrolls Online would be for you, based on the fact that a true first-person mode wasn’t going to be supported, ZeniMax Online Studios has some good news for you.
In an article with Destructoid, during a preview event last week arms and weapons were not only viewable, but functional and visually similar to that of other Elder Scrolls games. ZeniMax sad this mode should be fully playable and available at the game’s launch, not something they’ll have to add in later.
This is huge news, as many fans were grumbling about one of the most important aspects of any classic Elder Scrolls game being eliminated from ESO. The Destructoid article specifically noted that at times, it seemed like the author was playing Oblivion or Skyrim, meaning the first-person view looked good.
The article also noted that ESO would be available on Mac operating systems on day one as well.
The official Elder Scrolls Twitter outlets shared this article today, and there is much more to come, so stay tuned to Elder Scrolls Off the Record for all the latest.

My dreams have finally come true ;D
Playing a REAL Elderscrolls game with my friends!
Yes best news ever
YES!!!!1111oneoneone
(sorry, I had to do it;))
Can’t wait to get my hands on it! I’m really glad with both things, first person aspect should add a great more immersion and detail, and a fully functional Mac client at launch will be great! I have a gaming PC now, but my main OS is Mac, so whenever I upgrade, I will probably be able to play on that as well! Sweet.
